New Wealth Head At US Firm

A Pennsylvania-based firm, Bryn Mawr Bank Corp, has named the head of its wealth management division.

Pennsylvania-based Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation has named Harry Madeira as executive vice president and head of the wealth management division effective 2 September, 2014.

Madeira will replace Francis Leto who was appointed as president and chief operating officer of the bank and corporation on 1 May. Bryn Mawr Bank Corp previously said that on 1 January, 2015, Leto will succeed Ted Peters as chief executive, following his retirement on 31 December, 2014.

Before joining Bryn Mawr Trust, Madeira was senior vice president of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co, responsible for managing client relationships and new business development. He also developed significant wealth management business for the investment units of the firm.

Bryn Mawr Bank Corp is the parent firm of The Bryn Mawr Trust Company.
