Matthew Woodbridge is to join Barclays Wealth as a vice president when he leaves his post as head of investment at Chelsea Financial Services on 5 April, WealthBriefing can confirm.

In his new role, Woodbridge will work within the product team across tax-efficient vehicles such as venture capital trusts and enterprise investment schemes, as well as structured products.

In other developments, Barclays Wealth recently strengthened its Cardiff office with the addition of Paul Kirk - latterly of Coutts - as regional head.
