New York-based Ascent Wealth Partners has joined Dynasty Financial Partners’ wealth management and technology platform.

Ascent was founded recently by Bradley Kowalczyk, Mark Moshier and Scott McCartney, all former partners of another independent wealth management firm. It is an advisory firm catering to the upstate New York market, serving high net worth clients, small corporations, family-owned businesses, foundations and endowments.

As a supplement to its proprietary portfolio management capabilities, Ascent will utilize Dynasty’s wealth management platform including integrated technology, insurance products, trust services, lending solutions, capital markets research and products, and asset management services.
