New San Fran Firm Teams Up With Sanctuary Wealth Services

A newly-formed wealth management firm, Gordian Wealth Advisors, is working with San Francisco-based Sanctuary Wealth Services to support its business.

Gordian Wealth, also based in San Francisco, is led by Britt Doyle and Elliott Elbaz. Doyle was latterly with UBS, and has also worked at Citigroup Family Office and Merrill Lynch. Elbaz comes to the venture from the investment bank FBR, and has previously worked for Wells Fargo Securities.

The firm is the sixth to join the Sanctuary network, and the partnership will see Sanctuary providing investment, marketing, compliance and back-office services to Gordian, among others.

Earlier this month Sanctuary Wealth Services brought in Michael Battey, formerly a managing director at Atlantic Trust Company, as special advisor of investment strategy. In his new role he works with advisor teams to develop client investment strategies, and also helps advisory teams transition from their previous firm to Sanctuary's platform.
