New Private Client Operation in Jersey, Revenue Up for UK Broker

Revenue was up 46 per cent to £28.4 million at London-listed Cenkos Securities which has announced its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2007. Profit before tax for the period was up 21 per cent to £11.4 million. New teams recruited in the second half of 2006 have made a significant contribution to the present set of results, according to the company. The company says that since 30 June 2007 it has established a fund management operation, and recruited a team to set up a private client operation in Jersey and opening an office in Edinburgh.
