UK and US-based Castle Hill Asset Management, the specialist credit investment manager, said that Tom O’Shea has joined as a partner. He will be based in Castle Hill’s Charlottesville, Virginia office.

O’Shea joins the firm from hedge fund manager GoldenTree Asset Management, where he also was partner, based in London.

“Tom brings with him a wealth of experience and industry knowledge that will be invaluable to us as we develop our US platform,” said Brian Bassett, chairman and chief investment officer at Castle Hill

Castle Hill was founded in February this year and has more than $2 billion of gross assets under management.

Castle Hill operates in strategic partnership with Ignis Asset Management.
