Cyprus-based DeltaQuest Group has launched a new web portal to help high net worth individuals and corporates in forming an offshore trust or foundation.

The new offering, called My Offshore Trust.com, will include services and advice related to creditor protection, tax planning, wealth management, real estate, banking and other corporate asset protection, the firm said in a statement.

Some 28 jurisdictions are offered via the portal, which provides step-by-step guidance on setting up an offshore trust or foundation, along with guidance on the best trust strategies and structures to employ.

The legal niceties surrounding offshore trusts and foundations can be highly complex, and differ widely across jurisdictions; some, for example, tightly stipulate which assets may or may not be held in trust, while the different taxation regimes applied to trust property are notoriously difficult to navigate.
