New MD at Rothschild Trust in Geneva

Rothschild Private Banking and Trust has hired Marco Jäger as managing director of Rothschild Trust in Geneva. He will focus on client acquisition, relationship management and the continued expansion of Rothschild’s trust business. He joins from Credit Suisse Trust, where he held a number of senior managerial positions. The most recent of these was global market head for Europe, which included responsibility for sales and trust management teams in Zurich, Guernsey, Lugano and Geneva. David McLellan, chief executive of Rothschild Trust, said: “Marco’s appointment follows strong demand for our wealth structuring services in Geneva. He brings with him a great deal of experience in tax planning and in advising international families.” The current managing director in Geneva, Matthew Le Flocq, will now focus solely on running the operational side of Rothschild’s global trust business.
