Jane Kerins has been appointed managing director of Investec Trust (Guernsey) in a move that is aimed at strategically strengthening the senior management team and to take advantage of business growth opportunities within the international market, according to a statement.

Before joining Investec as a client services director at the beginning of 2007, Ms Kerins was a director at Credit Suisse, heading up the Americas team in Guernsey.

Her areas of expertise include client services, business development, IT and experience in the Asian and Latin American markets as well as knowledge of emerging jurisdictions and structures such as private unit trusts.
