Grey Spark Partners, a new London-based business, management and technology consulting firm specialising in capital markets, has opened its doors for business. The firm launches with a 20-strong team, including its four founding partners.

The partners at the firm are: Frederic Ponzo, managing partner responsible for overall leadership; George Kao, responsible for business development and growth of the company franchise; Andrew McLaughlin, responsible for sales strategy and marketing; and Bradley Wood, who will run the firm’s consulting organisation.

All four partners are former employees of NET2S. Mr Ponzo was a managing director at the firm, responsible for the its UK business; Mr McLauchlin was business development director; Mr Bradley was a principal consultant; and Mr Kao, although latterly a sales executive for the e-commerce business at Barclays Capital, was business development manager at NET2S prior to this.

Grey Spark Partners provides services to buy-side and sell-side firms, as well as solutions providers. It caters for the European market but aims to expand into the US and Asia within the next two years.
