New IM System From SimCorp At German Asset Manager

WAVE Management, the asset management unit of German insurance group VHV, has rolled out a new investment management system.

The Hannover-based company will be using SimCorp Dimension in the areas of portfolio management, compliance, risk management and performance measurement. The Danish software firm’s system is Solvency II-compliant:

“To comply with new and forthcoming regulation and to stay ahead of industry competition, companies need an advanced and up-to-date investment management system,” said Ralf Schmücker, managing director and head of sales and product management at SimCorp Central Europe.

At the end of 2011, WAVE managed €14 billion ($18.3 billion) in client assets.
