New Head At Citi's North America Trust Arm

Citi Private Bank has appointed Robert Laughlin as managing director and head of Citi Trust, North America.
Laughlin steps in from Neuberger Berman where he was chairman and president of the trust unit, which caters to high net worth individuals and small- to mid-sized institutional clients. Prior to that, he worked for over 10 years at JP Morgan, serving as head of the Delaware and international fiduciary services units, among others. He will be based in New York.
Citi Trust provides estate planning, fiduciary and investment management services to wealthy families and has operations in 11 locations across the US.
A few days earlier, the private bank brought in Russ Labrasca as a managing director and head of the Houston office. Labrasca joined from Wells Fargo Private Bank where he was a senior managing director responsible for the Southern region. As head of the Houston office, he is charged with strengthening Citi's wealth management presence in the region.
