New Head at Australian Private Bank Advice Team
Former RetireInvest chief executive George Haramis is to head
ANZ’s Private Bank advice team, managing about 20 financial
planners.
Mr Haramis resigned for “family reasons” from ING-owned dealer
group RetireInvest in February 2006 and subsequently took on a
position as sales and marketing head for listed salary packaging
company McMillan Shakespeare.
Mr Haramis said he had tired of weekly commuting between his home
in Melbourne and his office in Sydney for the 26 months he was
head of RetireInvest.
