London-based investment manager GAM and Barclays Capital have had approval from the Irish regulator to launch the GAM Star Barclays Dynamic Multi-Index Allocation Fund, a UCITS IV vehicle.

The fund hopes to deliver consistent, non-correlated returns in any market environment via active, discretionary allocations across the range of Barclays Capital’s indices, of which there are currently more than 4,000.
