New Family Law Practice Opens In London

The team advises on all areas of family law, particularly private children issues and cases with high value financial claims often spanning multiple jurisdictions and involving complex company structures
A new boutique divorce and family law practice has opened its
offices in Mayfair, London. It will offer its services in the
Greater London, Kent and Surrey.
Law partners Juliette Peters and Jessica May have opened the
doors to Peters
May, a family law firm which will offer services in the
following areas: divorce, children, finances, same sex
relationships, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements and
unmarried relationships.
The new firm’s co-founders have a client list which includes high
net worth individuals, those working in the sports and
entertainment industries, business owners and
entrepreneurs.
Together, the team advises on all areas of family law,
particularly private children issues and cases with high value
financial claims often spanning multiple jurisdictions and
involving complex company structures. Peters is also a
Guernsey Advocate.
May and Peters have over 35 years’ combined experience and a
wealth of expertise on advising in complex, high net worth and
multi-jurisdictional cases. The pair met whilst working together
at London law firm Howard Kennedy, where Peters was a
partner. The firm then went on to merge with CKFT
Solicitors, where May was practicing. Prior to working at
Howard Kennedy, Peters assisted divorce lawyer Raymond Tooth for
many years advising on family cases. Both Peters and May
left Howard Kennedy in 2016. Peters joined Shoosmiths as a
partner in its London family department whilst May took a short
career break to raise her family before consulting for law firm
family practices in London.
