New COO Named For Deutsche Asset And Wealth Mangement

Deutsche Bank's recently merged asset and wealth management arm has named a chief operating officer for Asia-Pacific.

Deutsche’s recently merged asset and wealth management arm has appointed of Venkatesh Narasiah as chief operating officer for Asia Pacific.  

He takes over with immediate effect from Boris Liedtke who is moving to a role in Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management's global operating platform and re-engineering group, the bank said in a statement.

Narasiah will report to Jon Eilbeck, global COO DeAWM, and to Ravi Raju, head of DeAWM, Asia Pacific.

“Venky brings extensive operational, management and client experience from across the Asia Pacific region to this role which will focus on effectively and efficiently delivering our products and services to clients,” Raju said.

Narasiah joined Deutsche Bank in 2007 as chief operating officer, for the private wealth management division (before it merged to become DeAWM), most recently serving as the sub-market head for Australia, Japan and India in the, Asia Pacific.  

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Narasiah spent 20 years with Citibank.
