New Chief Investment Officer For Architas

A new CEO takes over the helm of Architas, the renamed business of Axa Private Management.
AXA
Investment Managers announced the appointment of Rémi Lambert
as chief investment officer for Architas, effective
immediately.
Based in Paris and reporting to Matthieu André, chief executive
officer of Architas, Lambert is taking over from Jaime Arguello,
who has retired. Lambert will also be joining Architas’
global management committee. Prior to this role, he was CIO of
Architas France for over 10 years.
Lambert’s main priorities will include a continued focus on
delivering investment performance, improving Architas’s core
processes, as well as facilitating engagement across both AXA IM
business units and AXA entities to which Architas provides its
products and services.
“Rémi was a natural choice for the role given his previous
position as CIO for Architas in France. Over the last few months,
Remi and Jaime have been working closely to ensure a smooth
transition,” André said.
Lambert started his career by being a consultant analyst
with Datastream-Primark in 1996. In 1998, he joined Indocam (now
part of Amundi) as a financial engineering and risk analyst. In
2000, he moved to Société Générale Asset Management as head of
institutional marketing for multi-asset products. In 2003,
Lambert moved to a portfolio management role within the
multi-asset team and in 2005 was named head of institutional
multi-asset management. In 2008, Lambert was hired by the
AXA Group within the AXA Wealth Management unit as head of
financial engineering. In 2010, with the launch of AXA Private
Management (re-named in 2015 to Architas France), Lambert was
appointed deputy CEO and CIO of Architas France.
