New Chief Economist Takes The Helm At Danske Bank

This publication reports on latest moves and hires in the global wealth management sector.
Danske Bank has named Las Olsen as its new chief economist in Denmark, the Copenhagen-headquartered firm said yesterday.
Olsen starts the role immediately.
Olsen has worked as chief brand economist in Danske Bank since
2007, focusing primarily on consumer economics; he has also
acted as stand-in chief economist with a focus on broader
economic development. He takes the helm from Steen Bocian.
Before he began his work as an economist at Danske Bank, Olsen was an economist at Nordea. He has also been a reporter at the Danish newspaper Berlingske for five years.
