Neuberger Berman Partners With Italian Private Bank

The US investment house has boosted its European coverage with a partnership agreement in Italy.
Neuberger Berman has entered into a partnership with Fideuram - Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking.
The partnership will see Neuberger Berman’s UCITS fund range become available to the Fideuram and Sanpaolo Invest networks, which comprise over 5000 private bankers. The fund range consists of Ireland-domiciled funds investing in equities, fixed income and liquid alternative strategies.
“This is a key milestone in our strategy in Italy, which is a very important market for us,” said Dik van Lomwel, head of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America at Neuberger Berman. “We have a meaningful collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo that started last year in May when we established a strategic partnership in private equity.”
“The partnership agreement with Neuberger Berman allows us to further strengthen the quality of our product range and is an important step in our ongoing search for value both for private bankers and clients,” said Paolo Molesini, chief executive at Fideuram – Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking.
Neuberger Berman, which has offices in 19 countries, managed $240 billion in client assets as of the end of 2015.
