Neuberger Berman Appoints EMEA Marketing Head

The New York-headquartered investment house has appointed new marketing leadership for its EMEA business.

Neuberger Berman has appointed David Rowe to the role of head of marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Rowe joins from PIMCO where he was head of marketing communications for the EMEA region since 2012. He took on additional responsibility for Asia-Pacific in 2014. Rowe has 17 years’ experience in the asset management industry, having previously held senior marketing roles at Threadneedle (now Columbia Threadneedle).

Rowe replaces Nicolas Portet, who left the firm mid-last year. He will be based in London, responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy to support Neuberger Berman’s EMEA business.

“We are excited about David’s addition to the firm at a time when communication with our clients is more important than ever. His deep understanding and experience of marketing across EMEA will play a key role in tailoring our capabilities to each diverse market and supporting our dedicated client teams,” said Dik van Lomwel, the firm's head of EMEA and Latin America.
