Neptune Investment Management, the UK-based boutique, “soft” launched its UK Alpha Fund to investors – the fourth in the firm’s range of UK-focused funds, according to media reports.

Managing the fund, which will be high conviction with a portfolio comprising 30-40 stocks, is Nicola Muirhead, who has been with Neptune since the end of 2008, having previously analysed European financials for BlackRock.

Neptune’s other UK-focused funds are its UK equity, UK mid-cap and UK special situations funds.
