Neptune Investment Management is introducing two new funds today - the Neptune Latin America Fund and the Neptune Asia Pacific Opportunities Fund. Both vehicles are sub-funds of the Company’s OEIC, Neptune Investment Funds. The Latin America fund will be managed by Felix Wintle, head of US Equities and manager of the company’s Neptune US Opportunities Fund. The fund will sit within the IMA specialist sector and will look to generate capital growth from investment predominantly in Latin American securities or in the securities issued by companies transacting a significant proportion of their business in Latin America. Neptune have also announced that Shelley Kuhn, manager of the Neptune India Fund and Assistant Fund Manager of the Neptune China Fund, will lead the Neptune Asia Pacific Opportunities Fund. In addition to its focus on the energy sector, financials and industrials - particularly infrastructure-related industrials - the fund will look to exploit the materials sector, tapping into Indonesia’s natural resources and riding on the back of the commodity super-cycle.
