UK’s Neptune Investment Management has promoted Thomas Smith to sole manager of its Latin America fund.

Smith was named as co-manager of the Neptune Latin America Fund in July last year together with Felix Wintle, who will stay as head of US equities and concentrate his efforts on the firm’s US funds.

Smith is also an assistant fund manager on the Neptune Emerging Markets Fund, as well as responsible for global sector research on the chemicals and utilities sectors. He joined Neptune in 2009 as an investment analyst.
