National IFA Creates Head Of Advice Role

Ascot Lloyd has carved out a new role focused on enhancing operational efficiency.

Ascot Lloyd, the national IFA, has appointed Jade Connolly to the newly-created role of head of advice.

Based in London, Connolly will undertake a strategic review of Ascot Lloyd’s advice process, including developing a panel of “best-of-breed” products and platforms.

She is also tasked with establishing a new technical unit supporting the firm's service offering as well as new business lines, such as cash flow modelling and Court of Protection work.

Connolly joins the firm from Thomas Miller Investment, where she was head of paraplanning for two years. She started her career in financial advice as a researcher at Ring Associates before joining Ashcourt Rowan.

In her new role at Ascot Lloyd, she will report to Ian Balgarnie, business development director.
