National Financial Partners Acquires HNW Insurance Firm

New York-listed National Financial Partners has acquired Lane McVicker, a provider of personal lines property and casualty insurance to high net worth clients.
LMV, with annualized revenue of about $8 million, was founded in 1999 by president and chief executive Keith McVicker. The firm has been integrated into NFP Property & Casualty Services. As part of the move, McVicker will serve as a consultant to NFP P&C.
Its four other employee owners - Michael Carmody, Amy Ciasulli, Gilbert Lai and Brett Woodward - will become senior vice presidents of NFP P&C, leading its HNW personal lines division and reporting to Terrence Scali, CEO of NFP P&C. The firm has nine offices, including its New York City headquarters.
In July, NFP also aquired Elmsford, NY-based Fusion Advisor Network, a provider of practice management and business consulting to independent financial advisors. Fusion, which has over 240 advisors, was integrated into the NFP advisor services group to further the integration of service and technology into a platform for IFAs.
NFP provides advisory and brokerage services to firms and high net worth individuals. It operates in three segments: the corporate client group, the individual client group and the advisor services group.
