The one-week programme in Cambridge gives families the tools to handle volatile times, shape their legacy and foster sustainable development. One of the driving forces behind the initiative is a lawyer, author and expert on international taxation of the world's wealthy.
Philip Marcovici (pictured below), a figure who has straddled the worlds of private client advice and public policy, is returning to the UK academic fray next spring when a programme hosted at Cambridge brings in its fourth cohort.
Philip Marcovici
Marcovici is one of the founding advisors to the Cambridge
Institute for Sustainability Leadership’s Multigenerational
Leadership Programme. The programme resumes in May next year.
A lawyer, author and expert on areas such as the international
taxation of the wealthy, Marcovici
has spoken to WealthBriefing about topics such as
how the UK taxes the international wealthy. Marcovici also helped
to form the Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility between the UK and
the tiny European jurisdiction 14 years ago. The facility ended
up generating more than £1.25 billion ($1.64 billion) for the
UK.
The one-week programme in Cambridge gives families the tools to
handle volatile times, shape their legacy and foster sustainable
development. Organisers bring together academics and
practitioners, sector experts and fellow peers to unpack and
understand global sustainability challenges. Attendees attend
workshops, family case study presentations, group discussions,
one-to-one consultations.
The residential seminar runs from Sunday 17 May to Friday 22 May
2026.
