Multi-Family Office Adds Malta Trust Lawyer To Team

A luminary in Malta's legal and trusts sector has joined Boston Multi Family Office.

Boston Multi Family Office, which is headquartered in the Isle of Man, has appointed a senior trust lawyer as the new managing director of its Malta operations.

Dr Andrew Chetcuti Ganado takes on the role, while outgoing managing director Chris Borg moves to a new role at Deloitte Malta, BMFO said in a statement yesterday.

Having received his doctorate degree in law in 1998 from the University of Malta, Dr Chetcuti Ganado was admitted to the bar the following year and has since also gained an IFSP Certificate in Trusts Management and Administration. He spent more than 15 years with Bank of Valetta, progressing from legal advisory positions to become the executive head of the trustee services unit. Since leaving the bank in 2015, he has continued to work in law through his own firm, AC Ganado Legal.

In addition to his role with Boston, Dr Chetcuti Ganado is also a guest lecturer for the Masters course in Financial Services at his alma mater, the University of Malta. He has also lectured in the field of corporate and business law for students reading for ACCA exams.

The firm has offices in Malta and Dubai. It consists of Boston Fiduciary, a trust, corporate, and family office provider; Boston Ventures, a capital introduction and funding business; and Boston Link, an international headhunting and recruitment firm.
