Mourant Expands Middle East Footprint

The firm said it has built out its international presence in recent years, for example bolstering its Luxembourg operation and opening a new office Singapore in 2023.
Mourant, a law firm-led professional services business, is expanding its presence in the Middle East, appointing Richard Nunn as managing director, Middle East.
Based in the United Arab Emirates, Nunn will lead the firm's
regional growth strategy, the organisation said in a
statement.
Nunn is joining from Deloitte, where he spent six
years working with family enterprises in Saudi Arabia and the
UAE. Prior to that, he served as global head – overseas markets
at Jersey Finance, based in the UAE.
“This appointment is an important step in strengthening our
position in a dynamic and fast-growing region, and we look
forward to the opportunities it will create to enhance our Middle
East client offering," Mourant CEO, Jonathan Rigby, said.
"Building our relationships in the Middle East is a strategic
priority for Mourant, and we're excited to be deepening our
commitment to the region with the appointment of Richard
Nunn.”
Mourant is expanding: in 2023, it increased its
Luxembourg activity and opened a new office in Singapore that
same year. In June, Mourant appointed Tom Grogan as chief
transformation officer. Grogan joined Mourant from
Mishcon de Reya.
Mourant, which advises on the laws of the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey and Luxembourg, provides specialist entity management, governance, regulatory and consulting services.
