Morgan Stanley CAO At PWM Arm In London Leaves

A top executive at Morgan Stanley’s private wealth management arm in London, Michael Hall, has left the company, WealthBriefing has learned.

Hall held the position of chief administrative officer at Morgan Stanley. His future career plans could not be confirmed at the time of writing, although one source has told this publication he is joining a large European bank.

The chief operating officer is Jon Bendall, hired earlier this year from Standard Chartered

Morgan Stanley declined to comment on Hall's move.

There have been a number of senior changes at Morgan Stanley in recent months. Ausaf Abbas, who had been Morgan Stanley's head of sales and marketing for private wealth management in Europe, Middle East and Africa, resigned in January this year.

Last October, the firm’s private wealth management arm appointed Pavlos Bailas, a long-standing employee of the US firm, as its new head of its Europe, Middle East and Africa region, following the departure recently of Alexander Classen from the post.
