Morgan Stanley Appoints Executive Director, Vice President

As part of a drive to expand its UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa operations, Morgan Stanley has appointed Martin Davison and Glenn Palmer as executive director and vice president respectively for its private wealth management division, covering EMEA clients in the UK.

Both of the appointees join the New York-headquartered firm from Barclays Wealth and will be based in London.

Palmer was latterly a Barclays Wealth vice president covering UHNW individual and family office trading requirements, managing client relationships and providing them with access to the firm's business platforms. Before joining Barclays, he worked in the high net worth division of Lehman Brothers.

Morgan Stanley has also hired Omar Palmieri as an associate working with Anthony Hanna and Thomas Matuszak for its London office. Palmieri joins from Goldman Sachs International.

In related news, Morgan Stanley has appointed Ghada Ragheb as a vice president and investment advisor covering the Middle East, and Kshitij Sawhney as an associate and investment advisor focused on building business in Oman and the UAE. Both Ragheb and Sawhney will be based in Dubai.
