More Senior Moves At Legal & General

Legal and General, the UK-based asset management and insurance firm, has appointed Kerrigan Procter as managing director, annuities business, and Simon Gadd as chief risk officer.

Procter, who was previously head of the solutions group at LGIM, will report to John Pollock, executive director, protection and annuities.

Procter succeeds Gadd, who was previously managing director, annuities business, and who has now been promoted to chief risk officer. Meanwhile Gadd has replaced Andrea Blance, who was the previous CRO and who has moved into the role of finance director for the savings division at LGIM. Meder will report to Mark Zinkula, chief executive at the firm.

Taking on the role of head of solutions from Procter, is Aaron Meder, who was previously head of US pensions solutions for the firm’s US arm.

In other recent moves at Legal and General, earlier this month the firm saw the departure of its managing director of investments, Simon Ellis, and board director, head of asset allocation and head of global high yield bonds, David North. It also named Wadham Downing as group M&A and strategy director.
