More Change At The Higher Echelons Of Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered Bank has tapped a man with royal connections to be the vice chairman of its private banking clients division.

Chartered , the bank that earns the bulk of its revenues
outside the UK in regions such as Asia, has appointed Richard
Pattle as vice chairman of its private banking clients divison,
based in London.
Pattle will lead the client engagement initiatives at the private
banking arm.
He has a unique background having previously worked for The
Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. At Clarence House he
was responsible for the smooth running of their Royal Highness’
royal residences, staff and operations.
In his new role Pattle reports into Stephen Richards Evans -
global head of private banking clients.
Evans has relocated from Dubai to Singapore to direct the new
segment. He was previously regional head of private banking
clients for the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP),
Africa, South Asia and Europe regions.
As part of this sharpened focus on ultra high net worths, Rahul
Raswant, currently director, in the bank’s strategy team, has
also been appointed as executive director.
In this new role Rahul will be responsible for the formulation
and delivery. Currently based in the UK, Rahul brings with him an
extensive background in strategy, investment and equity
investing.

team. His extensive experience in the Royal Household and
previous leadership experience in the military will be a
significant asset as we enhance our services and solutions for
UHNW clients," said Michael Benz, global head, private banking
clients.
