Misys, the application software and services company, has appointed Richard Watrasiewicz as its professional services director for Europe. Mr Watrasiewicz is responsible for running the professional services team and projects across the region for both the banking, and treasury and capital markets businesses.

Mr Watrasiewicz joins Misys from Capco, where he was instrumental in building its wealth management technology practice. Over the last 20 years, he has developed his expertise in both consulting and professional services in the financial services industry with roles that include running the global professional services business at Odyssey Financial Technologies, global operations director at Vocalis and senior roles at TCA Consulting and EDS.
