The brokerage firm Sitfel, Nicolaus & Co has hired Julie Gampp as vice president of investments, based in Frontenac, MO. 

Gampp joins from US Bancorp and started her investment career with Mark Twain Brokerage in 1996. She remained with the latter firm through its mergers with Mercantile Bancorporation, Firstar Corporation and, ultimately, US Bancorp.  

In a similar hire at the end of August, Sitfel, Nicolaus & Co added Stephen Knudson as a first vice president of investments within its Billings, MT, private client group.

Stifel, Nicolaus & Co is a subsidiary of St Louis, MO-based Stifel Financial.
