The new head of Nordic sales at Mirae has 14 years' experience in the financial services sector.

Mirae Asset Global Investments has appointed Christina Eriksson as head of Nordic sales. She will be based in London.

Eriksson will be responsible for driving the distribution of Mirae Asset’s investment solutions to clients in the Nordic countries, the firm said in a statement earlier in the week.

She has 14 years’ experience serving clients with a focus on emerging markets. Before joining Mirae Asset, she was a client director at Investec Asset Management, covering the Nordic region and Switzerland.

“The Nordic region is an important market for Mirae Asset, and we are glad to have Christina on board,” said Jung Ho Rhee, president and chief executive officer. “She possesses extensive experience in business development and in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry. Christina’s appointment will further enable Mirae Asset to build on our strong distribution network across Europe."
