Minnesota Firm Adopts SEI Wealth Manager Platform

The Minnesota-headquartered wealth manager, Thrivent Trust Company, is adopting SEI’s integrated wealth management solution, the SEI Wealth Platform.
The platform integrates wealth processing and wealth management services in a single-infrastructure solution and will enable Thrivent to manage a client’s lifecycle within one environment. Thrivent is the seventh US wealth management firm to select the SEI platform, with five firms installing the offering through 2014.
Thrivent provides a range of trust and wealth management services and will bring its 1,500 accounts and more than $600 million in assets to the platform.
By adopting the platform, Thrivent aims to increase efficiencies and enhance productivity across its middle office; compliance management; and portfolio management services, said Jesse Ostrom, president and chief executive at Thrivent Trust Company.
The platform currently supports trading and transactions on 104 stock exchanges in 45 countries. Through it, SEI manages $507 billion in mutual fund and pooled or separately managed assets, including $204 billion in assets under management and $303 billion in client assets under administration as of June 30 2013,
