Mid-Atlantic asset manager adds seven wholesalers

Turner puts field reps, internal support behind a retail-distribution push. Berwyn, Pa.-based money manager Turner Investment Partners has hired seven wholesalers to support a push into private-client distribution channels. They report to Gary Ross, managing director of the Turner's Private Client Group.

The new wholesalers are supposed to cultivate new and existing relationships with brokers, investment advisors, and financial planners and gaining sales in an assigned geographic region. John Caron has been assigned to cover northern Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas; Sherrie English looks after southern Texas and Louisiana; Geoffrey Haefner covers Pennsylvania and Delaware, and Scott Mahoney takes care of Georgia and Florida.

Supporting these field wholesalers are Brian Campbell, Justin Edell and Dan Holloway.

Turner sees more hires for its private-client distribution team in store.
