Merrill Lynch Global Private Clients is hosting a two and a half day investment training programme for forty-five 18-30 year olds, the offspring of the firm’s ultra high net worth clients – those with more than $30 million of investable assets - in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. The programme, which will take place in London on 17-19 July, will provide information on investment strategy, risk tolerance and global asset allocation. “More of our clients are recognising the importance of investment training for their children so that the next generation is equipped to take responsibility for managing and safeguarding their wealth. As investment markets become more international and sophisticated the next generation of wealthy individuals needs to understand what is available in the market place and the latest investment thinking,” said Eva Castillo, head of Merrill Lynch Global Private Client business for the UK & Europe, in a statement.
