Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has appointed Arnaud Lambillon – formerly of UBS Wealth Management – as a financial advisor covering resident non-domiciled UK clients and UK citizens based in Switzerland.

In this role, which is newly-created, Mr Lambillion will be based in Zurich, focusing in particular on ultra high net worth individuals and family offices, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management said in a statement.

The firm said it will now serve offshore UK clients with dedicated local teams in Monaco and Zurich.

While at UBS Wealth Management Mr Lambillon was a senior client advisor based in Zurich covering UK offshore private clients. Prior to this he was a senior manager in the London financial products group of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

“Arnaud’s appointment marks an important development in the growth of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management’s offshore business in EMEA. His extensive experience and knowledge will allow us to offer tailored solutions locally to Swiss-based UK resident non-domiciled clients,” said Nick Tucker, head of UK and Ireland, EMEA Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
