Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Boosts Israeli Team

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has bolstered its team in Israel with the appointment of Yanir Brenner and Dan Ram as financial advisors to focus on both high and ultra high net worth clients.
Brenner joins from HSBC Private Bank, where he was based in Tel Aviv as a private banker. Prior to this he was a financial advisor at Analyst IMS.
Ram was latterly a financial advisor with UBS Wealth Management in Tel Aviv and before that worked for Edmond de Rothschild Investment Services as a private banker and a trader covering European and Israeli markets.
In their new roles, both appointees report to Sigal Shapira, head of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Israel.
Merrill Lynch has had wealth management operations in Israel since 2000 and also serves Israeli clients from offshore offices in the UK, US and Switzerland.
The firm groups Israel together with the UK and Ireland regionally. Last month Adam Horowitz was appointed as the permanent head for these three markets, having previously been acting head. Before his appointment on an interim basis he had been head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Global client coverage.
