Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Appoints Head Of UK, Ireland and Israel

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management has appointed Adam Horowitz, formerly acting head for the region, as its permanent head of the UK, Ireland and Israel.
Horowitz has worked for Merrill Lynch for eleven years, and prior to his interim role he was head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Global client coverage. His previous roles at the bank included head of emerging market equities for EMEA, chairman of the emerging market steering committee and chief executive of Merrill Lynch South Africa.
In his new role, Horowitz will be responsible for the development and oversight of Merrill Lynch’s wealth management business in the three markets. He will be based in London, reporting to David Jervis, head of EMEA Wealth Management.
Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management has around 15,100 financial advisors globally and approximately $1.4 trillion in client assets as of 30 June 2010.
