Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Adds To Advisory Team

Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, part of Bank of America, has appointed David Barnett as financial advisor at the firm’s office in Melville, New York, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Barnett joins from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney where over the last year he has generated $2.2 million in fees and commissions and managed $180 million in client assets, according to the publication.

Prior to his role at MSSB, Barnett worked at Citigroup for eight years according to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records.

Earlier this month four financial advisors moved from MSSB to the White Plains, New York office of JP Morgan Securities.
