Merrill Launches Discretionary Portfolio Management in Ireland, Hires Three

Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client group has launched discretionary portfolio management for high net worth clients in Ireland and has strengthened its team with three senior hires. Richard Dunn joins as a portfolio manager reporting to Andrew Clark, head of Merrill Lynch Portfolio Managers. Maeve Corr and Michael Durcan join as financial advisors and will report to Nick Tucker, market leader for UK & Ireland, Merrill Lynch GPC. All three will be based in Dublin. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr Dunn was head of Equity Strategy with Oppenheim Investment Managers. Before that he was head of International Equities at Irish Life Investment Managers. Ms Corr joins the team from Deloitte where she was a director of Deloitte Pensions & Investments heading the Private Client division. Mr Durcan joins the Global Private Client group directly from Merrill Lynch’s Global Markets and Investment Banking group in Dublin where he has worked since 2005. He trained and worked as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand.
