Mellon opens 19th Floridian private-client office
Wealth giant says Naples office needed to keep pace with Gulf-coast demand. Mellon Financial has opened a private-banking office in Naples, Fla., "to accommodate the continued growth of its Florida operations. The move gives the Pittsburgh-based bank 19 offices in the state.

"Through this new office, we also look forward to serving our already extensive local client base," says Mario Trueba, head of Mellon's Private Wealth Management (PWM) group in Florida. "We are pleased now to be their neighbors as well as their wealth managers and are committed to continuing to provide them, and our new clients, with Mellon's world-class investment, wealth planning, and private banking services."
The Naples office is staffed by new-business developers Ted Corbin and Sharon Treiser, portfolio manager Michael Nurenberg and private banker Tom Sharpe. Mellon PWM provides wealth planning, investment management and financial management services to high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, charitable-gift programs, endowments and foundations. The unit has 62 offices in the U.S., including 19 in Florida. -FWR
