MD Of Merrill Lynch International Bank In Singapore Leaves

Kong Eng Huat, the managing director of Merrill Lynch International Bank Ltd in Singapore, and market managing director for South Asia global wealth management, has left the company, WealthBriefingAsia can exclusively reveal.

Mr Kong has been with Merrill Lynch since 1989 and is also member of the Asia Pacific Wealth Management Executive Committee.

The bank's spokesperson could not give any comment when contacted by WBA at the time of publication.

On the other side of the ledger, the firm in Singapore recently hired private banking senior executive Yang Fang Ong from Julius Baer, as this publication also exclusively reported in January. Ms Ong had been at Julius Baer since 2006.
