Major US Bank Launches Fund Range In Sweden

A major US bank has made eleven UCITS funds available to Swedish investors through the online bank and investor-direct platform, Nordnet.
The US bank Wells Fargo has launched eleven funds from its Luxembourg-based UCITS Lux Worldwide range, in Sweden, available through the online bank Nordnet.
The fund selection will be available on the investor-direct platform and consists initially of eight equity funds and three bond funds, including the China Equity Fund, Emerging Markets Equity Fund, Emerging Markets Equity II Fund, Emerging Markets Income and Growth Fund, Global Equity Fund, Global Opportunity Bond Fund, Precious Metals Fund, US High Yield Bond Fund, US Large Cap Growth Fund, US Premier Growth Fund and US Short-Term High Yield Bond Fund.
“The Swedish fund market is a dynamic industry and an important part of our continued investment and growth in Europe. We believe that our offering on Nordnet will help Swedish fund investors diversify their portfolios,” said Ludger Peters, managing director of international business development at Wells Fargo Asset Management.
As at 30 September 2013, Wells Fargo Asset Management had approximately $460 billion in global assets under management.
