Macquarie Group, the Australian financial services firm, has named a new head for its wealth management business in Perth.

Justin Mannolini is now the executive director of Macquarie Capital, the wealth management and real estate services division of Macquarie Group. Based in Perth, Mannolini will be responsible for spearheading the bank's growth strategies in the Western Australian market.

Mannolini was previously a managing director for Gresham Advisory Partners in Perth. Before that, he was a partner in the mergers and acquisitions group of Freehills, an Australian law firm that has been renamed to Herbert Smith Freehills.

Macquarie has been operating in Perth for 20 years and currently has about 130 staff.
