The firm, part of the Australia-headquartered group, has made a senior appointment as it targets professional investment buyers.

Macquarie Investment Management, part of the investment management arm of Australia-headquartered Macquarie, has appointed Austin McBride as head of UK wholesale, based in London. His role focuses on growing the firm’s presence with professional buyers.

McBride was previously at Ignis Asset Management, where he was most recently head of UK wholesale. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Lazard Asset Management, Janus International and Henderson Global Investors.
