M&I Wealth Management Promotes Senior VP

M&I Wealth Management, part of BMO Financial Group, has promoted Steve Marsich to senior vice president, managing director for its wealth management groups in Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin.
Yesterday it emerged that three wealth management executives who joined BMO as part of the Toronto-listed firm’s acquisition of Marshall & Ilsley last year have departed, a spokesperson for the company confirmed.
In his new role, Marsich is responsible for the management and direction of the team in the areas of private banking, investment management, financial advisors, personal trust and estate settlement services, the firm said.
Marsich joined M&I in 2004 and has served as the managing director of the Northwest Wisconsin group since 2006. He was previously a trust officer and wealth management consultant for Marshall & Ilsley Trust Company.
Last month M&I appointed Mark Fenlon as regional president to lead wealth operations in Kansas City, MO.
M&I’s offering for high net worth individuals and families includes financial planning, investment management and advisory services, trust and estate services, and private banking.
