London-Based Private Bank Makes Isle Of Man Promotion

London-headquartered Duncan Lawrie Private Bank has promoted Steven Quayle to director of finance, risk and compliance at its Isle of Man subsidiary, after four years of service as financial controller.
Before joining Duncan Lawrie in 2008, Quayle was a client accountant at ECS International (now Baker Tilly Isle of Man).
Duncan Lawrie’s Isle of Man business, which has a separate banking licence, currently has a staff of 30.
Overall, the bank has some 4,500 clients representing around £700 million ($1.1 billion) in assets. Duncan Lawrie has embarked on an ambitious growth plan to double its book of investment and banking clients over the next five years and this was the subject of a recent interview given to WealthBriefing by Matthew Parden, the bank’s managing director (to view click here).
